Contra el rancho en Venezuela: de la campaña de 1946 a la batalla de 1951

Abstract

Oficial politics promoted in Venezuela to defeat the rancho are analyzed from the view of architecture story. Facing the magnitude of the problem, proposals of Banco Obrero like rehabilitation with 1946 campaign or swept with the 1951 Battle, revealed the State inability to eliminate the proliferacy of informal urban housing.
