Dinámica migratoria de la Ciudad de México
El censo del año 2000
Abstract
In this article it is presented a preliminary analysis of the information, about mogration to and from mexico city, captured in mexican population and housing plan census 2000. According to most recent data, it seems that the mexican capital city could not sustain the migration registered in the 1990 population census. Also it seems feasible that there exists a migration balance, that eventually could lead to a future increase in the social component of population growth. Some alternative hypothesis are suggested, and some possible effects of the incrased immigration to Mexico city are discussed as well.
